The standard apps assume a standard firm. Yours isn't.
Proper EIC, EICR, and Minor Works to BS 7671, plus quoting, jobs, and invoicing, ready on day one. Tell us the part no app covers. We build it in, included in the flat price.
Common questions
- What if it doesn't do something we need?
- Tell us. Most gaps ship within the hour, a field on a certificate, a report layout, a step in how your office runs a job. It's included in the subscription, not a feature request sitting on someone else's roadmap. Start free, issue a real certificate, and when you hit something missing, see how fast we close it.
- We're already on Tradify, SimPRO, or a certificate app, why move?
- If it fits how you work, stay. The firms that move to ZAPT are the ones running a spreadsheet or Word template alongside, the part of the job the product doesn't do. We start you with certificates, quoting, and jobs on one record, then build that missing part in. The difference isn't a longer feature list; it's a platform that takes on your workflow.
- Does Electrical certificates cover EIC, EICR, and Minor Works?
- Yes, each certificate type has the fields you expect: supply characteristics, extent and limitations, declarations, board schedules, per-circuit test results, and EICR observations (C1/C2/C3/FI). Issue a numbered PDF with your scheme details on it.
- Can it remind landlords when their EICR is due?
- Yes. Set a testing schedule on each installation, landlord EICR every five years, emergency lighting, fire alarm tests on your cycle. Clients get reminder emails before the due date (and on the day) with an optional booking link so they can book you back in.
- What about Part P and NICEIC / NAPIT?
- Part P notification records sit alongside installations and certificates, with status from pending to acknowledged. Org settings carry your competent person scheme and registration number onto issued PDFs.
- Do we need every app on this page?
- No. Many electricians start with Electrical certificates alone; add Job Quote or Quoteq when you want quoting and invoicing on the same customer record. Everything is included in one flat price.
- What does it cost?
- One flat monthly price for the whole platform, every app here and everything else on ZAPT, for your whole team. No per-app charges, no per-user fees. Free while it's just you, then seven days free when you add your team. No card.
- We still use Word templates and a spreadsheet for recalls.
- That's the usual starting point. Add your installations, issue your first EICR, and the next due date rolls forward from the certificate. When recalls are due, email the client from the due list, or let the reminders go out automatically.
- We're not in the UK, can we use it?
- The certificate formats, Part P, and landlord recall cycles are built for UK regulations (BS 7671). The rest of the platform, quoting, jobs, invoicing, scheduling, works anywhere. If you need your region's certificate formats, tell us: that's exactly how this app got built in the first place, and regional packs are the kind of gap we close.
