Put up what you need. People reserve a gift and confirm when they have bought it.
Wish list is for anything where several people might buy the same thing twice — birthday gifts, leaving collections, school or charity appeals. You create a list, add items (with optional shop links), and share one link. No login for the people reserving: they enter their name and email, and mark the gift bought on the list when they have it. Each item defaults to quantity one. For appeals you can ask for more than one of the same thing. If a gift is still not marked bought after 2 hours, they get an email and then have 24 hours before it goes back on the list. Someone can also suggest a gift that is not on the list. You reply by email or phone, then add it as bought.
